There are big video walls and there are massive ones. Oracle Red Bull Racing partnered with PPDS to deploy what’s called Europe’s largest indoor LED video wall at its Milton Keynes headquarters. The MK-7 venue now has a superb digital signage installation that enhances the visitor’s experience and promotes the Red Bull Racing brand. See it here.

A record-breaking indoor video wall at MK-7 venue

Immersion and engagement are among the top reasons why businesses and organizations turn to video walls. Oracle Red Bull Racing decided to refresh its MK-7 venue and collaborated with PPDS on one of the most exciting digital signage projects of 2024.

46.25 x 2.75-meter dvLED wall was brought to the events at Oracle Red Bull Racing’s headquarters in Milton Keynes. It’s an ambitious project (and PPDS’s largest deployment to date) that shows how indoor LED video walls can be used to impress more. Ruitech Solutions and Vogel’s also collaborated on this project.

The displays are Philips Public LED 7000 Series’ featuring a 2.4mm pixel pitch and a 19240x 144 resolution for crisp and rich visual performance.

This indoor LED video is placed above the showcase of a selection of Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 cars enhancing the design and bringing more visual power to the event space.

Long story short, it looks dazzling with the juxtaposition of the state-of-the-art Formula One cars, the dark interior of the event space, and the bright screens:

Bringing the cutting-edge technologies to F1 experience

“The MK-7 event space is home to a number of winning race cars and the space needed to adapt to allow flexibility for growth and change, as well as a fresh look and feel, with cutting-edge technologies to match,” said Nick Kenton, director of hospitality and events at Oracle Red Bull Racing.

“Working with PPDS, our visions for this stunning venue have been fulfilled, with the new Philips LED wall able to deliver the cutting-edge technology and performance befitting of our brand with the capabilities we craved.”

Each screen of this indoor LED video wall highlights the driver behind the F1 car and comes with information regarding the vehicle’s performance. Also, the displays can be programmed to show one monolithic video or imagery to engage with the audience even better.

Immersive technologies are becoming a new norm within the events space. Also, they are actively used in museums, retail, and entertainment.
