iPhone 16 arrived this September and so did the Apple Intelligence commercial. The much-advertised new AI feature got itself a proper advertising campaign. The Tim Cook-led company chose The Last of Us and Game of Thrones actress Bella Ramsey as a spokesperson. Watch the new Apple Intelligence commercial here.
Apple Intelligence commercial highlights the AI’s everyday help
The “It’s Glowtime” September Apple Event has finally presented the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, and didn’t present the updated Apple TV 4K. However, all are still waiting to upgrade their 4K monitor. The updated phones have got themselves a brand new camera control, better Telephoto capabilities, and an Action button. But the most revolutionary change was unveiling the long-awaited Apple Intelligence to the masses.
To celebrate the release, Apple has released an Apple Intelligence commercial campaign featuring the slightly sarcastic but very charming Bella Ramsey. Lyanna Mormont from Game of Thrones and Ellie from The Last of Us, Ramsey plays a very down-to-earth role this time. She uses the AI capabilities of Apple Intelligence to go through various everyday situations.
Apple has produced 3 Apple Intelligence commercials in total, each highlighting a certain aspect of the exciting new feature.
In “More Personal Siri,” Bella Ramsey is at the party trying to remember the name of a guy she met at Cafe Grenel a while ago:
Another Apple Intelligence commercial showcases the email summary function while Ramsey sits through the meeting with a playwright:
Finally, the last Bella Ramsey ad may well be the most borderline sad that Apple has ever created. It’s about the pet fish funeral. The man struggles to remember the name of the fish that just died so the actress uses the custom memory movie feature to save the day.
The commercials were created by TBWA\Media Art Lab and directed by David Shane.
The company puts high hopes in Apple Intelligence
Apple needs to get on top of the AI conversation. As Google and OpenAI dominate the artificial intelligence landscape, the Cupertino tech giant tries to find its place at the table of this new tech extravaganza.
It seems Apple has decided to focus on helping users with the most mundane and simple chores with their AI strategy. As the Bella Ramsey campaign shows, you’d want to use Apple Intelligence to make your life slightly easier.
The email summaries and personal Siri responses are far from groundbreaking next-gen technology. Are they unwelcomed? Absolutely not, they are great additions to your iPhone experience. Also, Apple says that more AI features will come as time passes, so it’s going to be even better.
